GATE FIFTY TWO

The Gate of Inaction.

HARMONIC GATE: 9

CIRCUIT: COLLECTIVE (UNDERSTANDING)

This gate has the ability of complete concentration.

It is a part of the collective understanding circuit. Its logical. The inaction that this gates takes is all a part of a strategy. It wants you to focus and concentrate on one thing at a time. This is the gate that stops, sits and waits until the correct assessment of the situation has been undertaken, then and only then it’s time to take action. Once you find something to deeply identify with, there is a tension that arises from the balance of wanting to move forward and the pressure to keep still.

You know those people who have one job to do, like paint the laundry. Most people would say "righto, off to the paint"... Not people with this gate. This gate is the person who is still sitting in the garage on a step ladder in deep thought for about 6 hours. To others it can look like there is nothing happening. Truth be told there is a lot happening. Calculations are being made "how much paint to the square meter", tools for the job are being assessed "I've got half a roll of cut in tape, that will get me x amount of coverage", timing and number of coats are being evaluated, "if I start now then it that coat will dry in approx...."... you get the idea. It can be frustrating to watch. Just know that when this gates energy has completed its self-imposed inaction it will be all systems go!!

Format gate energy can bring depression if the not-self takes over, this one in particular gets a  restless depression. There is a real restraint of the pressurised root motor here. The natural pulse of the root motor is to do and get involved. This gates energy can get restless looking for something to focus on or to sink its teeth into. When there is nothing it can get depressed. The pressure to focus your energy and concentrate is the known pressure of this gate. It is your choice if this pressure becomes an unhealthy level of stress.

Just a heads up, gate 52 line 1 keynote; think before you speak (energy that cannot be stilled).

*The way I translate the gates is a mixture of Human Design source material; textbooks, transcripts, audios & second generation HD material, integrations from IRL, client sessions, mentoring & personal experience.
