PHS - Digestion.

The PHS (Primary Health System) is the fancy name for the red arrows on the left side of your Human Design chart. These two arrows are concerned with the unconscious design, or, the BODY. The top left arrow is our digestion/ determination arrow; how we are designed to nourish our body. The bottom left red arrow is concerned with environments; where we are designed to flourish and thrive. Each arrow holds a colour, tone and base nuance to it. Your colour in your design (red side) Sun and Earth is where you can discover your unique way of taking in food optimally for your body, known as your “Determination.” Your tone is determined by the way the arrow is facing.

Radical differentiation begins with supporting your brain system. Our bodies are designed to be nourished from the inside out. Human Design determination is not about WHAT your eating. Rather, it is about HOW your are eating. The digestion colours and tones all have a condition or circumstance that when followed supports your body to be able to extract the exact nutrients your body needs to support its differentiated potential and develop your brain capacity to its fullest potential.

Some people see the benefits in a few days, others within a few weeks or months. As you decondition over 7 years, the cellular renewal throughout the body allows the body to function optimally which then allows the passenger (your mind) to become more at ease and comfortable in your own skin. If you consistently follow your PHS, you may discover startling improvements in your well-being. Colour is the overall digestion condition (appetite, taste, thirst, sound, touch, light). Tone is the next level of nuance that occurs i.e., You may have a SOUNDS colour determination but are you high sounds tone, or low sounds tone?

Important note;

Ra suggests that we prioritise the deconditioning of our determination differently as adults in comparison to children or infants. For children, Determination is the very first step (this section). It is highly important to their brain development. As conditioned adults, Ra recommends beginning with your focus more on your design external (correct environment). This is because as adults we are already highly conditioned in the way we eat, our pallets and habits are deeply conditioned into us through our pentas (family upbringing). If we were to begin with our determination it can be very unstabling to the body causing illness, it is also extremely isolating for our relationships, and can cause extra suffering and resistance in our lives, effecting the ease of your experiment. As an adult, beginning with a focus on your correct environment means your body is in a space that is supportive to your body and your relationships. Not to mention you have much less resistance in your correct environment.

So to keep in alignment with source material, if you are looking at this information for the application of a child or infant HERE is the variable you would begin with. If you are wanting to apply this information to your own experiment as an adult, it will be more beneficial to begin with the ENVIRONMENT section. In saying that, please know that you cannot simply think up a place in your mind that sounds like your environment and place yourself there. Your correct environments come to you though surrender to your Authority. As always you cannot ‘mind’ or ‘think’ your way through your experiment, it must begin with and will always return to your strategy and Authority.

LEFT FACING ARROW- is an active brain that requires a consistent intake of food. Do not get to a hungry state.

RIGHT FACING ARROW- is a passive brain, more of a fasting style, eat only once hungry.

 
 
 

1.Appetite.

Caveman, simple, whole, seasonal. Eats until full and then waits or grazes all day.

 

2. Taste.

The beginning of variety, a selection, tries new things or does not.

 

3. Thirst.

The beginning of temperature experimentation. Cooked or raw. hot or cold.

 

4. Touch.

The energy of the environment around the eater must be considered. Busying or serene.

 

5. Sound.

Volume of the environment around the eater must be considered. high/ a lot versus low/ little amounts

 

6. Light.

Time of day to consume food must be considered. Day time eaters vs nigh time eaters.

Consuming life.

Once you begin to experiment and align with feeding your body correctly you may being to notice that everything you consume feels more nourishing when its in alignment with your determination colour and tone.

We consume so much in life these days. TV, Podcasts books, social media, other people, environments , situations, courses and study materials its all up for consumption. Your digestion colour and tone is how your brain is acclimatised to optimally digest all of this consumption.
